This chapter continues the study of Geometry and looks at the transformations that can happen to an object.

NOTES TO FOLLOW
The first transformation we deal with is a Dilation. This will create similar shapes that have a constant proportion of sides. This assignment will help you practice and understand.
The second transformation to look at is the Translation. This is a change to the position of an object without changing the size, shape or orientation.
Next we look at the Reflection transformation. This changes the orientation and position of the object without changing it's size and shape.
The last section of the unit deals with the Rotational transformation. This changes an object's orientation and position as it turns around a point.
