For anyone wanting to use the recipes we try in class, here they are. Have some fun and let the class know how it goes.
Lab #1 Oatmeal Cookies
These call for nice juicy raisins, though everyone in class usually opts for the chocolate chips. Go figure. Try them with the original form and you'll have a nice chewy cookie that's also a fairly healthy snack.

Lab #2 Linguini Bolonase
Spaghetti and meat sauce without the spaghetti or the hamburger meat, oh no! This is a traditional take on the Italian classic using pasta and a fresh home-made sauce. Credit for this one goes to Gordon Ramsey.

Lab #3 Chocolate Brownies

Lab #4 Homemade Pizza
This is a simple and workable pizza recipe that works with white flour, but can also adjust to a mix of healthier whole wheat. The sauce is also from scratch and so can be infinitely adjusted to taste.

Lab #5 Christmas Gingerbread House and Royal Icing
This recipe makes enough dough to create one small gingerbread house. The icing is a classic royal icing which will have about 1 hour of workable time after making it to glue your pieces together. Happy Holidays.
Warning!!!!! The Icing serves as the glue for your house and will set up like cement afterwards. It is not meant to stay soft and tasty as you would expect on a cake.

Lab #6 Raspberry Streusel
This treat can be made with any type of jam or homemade preserves for a quick snack. For an added touch you can make a glaze from icing sugar and a drop of water to drizzle on the top of the squares once they have cooled a bit.

Lab #7 Chicken Stir Fry

Lab # Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Lab # Crepes
Here is a super thin, stuffed pancake that doesn't need syrup. Put in the fruit filling, roll it up and apply a dusting of icing sugar for effect. Just like Denny's! And yes, you can make them with Nutella when you're at home.

Lab # Chicken Alfredo
Fried chicken breast on a bed of noodles and covered in a creamy, cheesy sauce. Looks impressive with a sprig of parsley on top.
